David Koch
David Koch is a trial lawyer with extensive experience representing clients in business, intellectual property, and real estate litigation. David has litigated recent cases involving trademarks, trade dress, software source code copyright and trade secret disputes, and also has experience representing clients in patent litigation. David has successfully tried numerous cases in California and Nevada, and has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Before founding Koch & Scow LLC, David began his career with O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Newport Beach, California. David was also a partner at Turner Green Afrasiabi & Arledge LLP in Costa Mesa, California and opened the firm’s office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

David’s skills and reputation have been recognized in being selected as a “Super Lawyer: Rising Star,” in three consecutive surveys naming the top 2.5 percent of attorneys under 40 in Southern California.

Obtained $33.6 million judgment against former corporate insiders in securities fraud litigation based on claims of wrongfully issued shares and stock dilution.

Represented prominent software company in a dispute over authorship of source code for proprietary law enforcement software.

Obtained complete dismissal of trademark infringement and trade dress claims brought against clients in federal court in Nevada.

Obtained award of 1.1 million shares of disputed stock after
three-week trial in Orange County, California.

Represented plaintiff in patent litigation over computer encryption methods for secure data transmission.

Represented real-estate developer in lawsuit over architectural designs of $56 million residential structures.
